| Description: | A newly created role focusing on corporate and sovereign clients, providing capital markets financing and advisory services, accessing global capital markets (primarily through the structuring, arranging and issuance of Sukuks), structured finance; asset securitization and client rating advisory services.
The Managing Director Capital Markets will assume responsibility for; |
| Duties: | Primary Capital Market Activities
* Origination of assets;
* Sector analysis
* Target list
* Balance sheet analysis
* KYC Documentation
* Meeting & Discussions with the client
* Propose financing structure
* Negotiate the terms and conditions
* Mandate agreement to be concluded and signed
Structuring;
* Designing and establishing the structures
* Obtaining issuer, Sharia and legal counsel approval
* Preparing documentation for the deal
Pricing of transactions
* Swaps, and yield curve
* Spreads analysis
* Industry perception
* Issuer perception
* Market cycles & market appetite
* Rating and outlook
* Country risk
* Currency risk
* Liquidity
* Market comparison
Coordination of Capital markets and Institutional Banking divisions for syndications and deal closing.
Medium Term Funded Portfolio of Structured Products;
* Development and maintainenance;
* Portfolio perspective (as opposed to trading perspective)
* Liaison with treasury for funding the portfolio.
Tertiary Market Activities
* Development of capital markets structured products;
* Placement and portfolio management in liaison with the asset management.
Provide advisory services related to Capital Market.
Working with ALCO, for the structuring and documentation on long term funding accessing capital markets. |
| Qualifications: | To take advantage of this opportunity you will have;
• A deep existing client base
• Extensive knowledge of capital market activities including origination of assets, structuring and pricing.
• Extensive knowledge of, and a network of contacts in, the Capital Markets arena at a local, regional (GCC) and international level
• Outstanding relationship building and client management skills
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Understanding of risk assessment and measurement techniques
• Highly developed analytical and technical skills
• Ability to present and articulate complex deals to sophisticated audiences
• Understanding of funding limit requirements for ALCO
• Keen awareness of product development and distribution trends in the market
The succesful candidate wll be an experienced Senior Capital markets professional with 15+ years experience, 7-10 of which will have been at senior management levels in the region.
